Globus is software-as-a-service for research data management, developed at, and operated by, the University of Chicago. Globus provides high speed, secure file transfer; file sharing directly from existing stage systems; and data publication to institutional repositories, and is rapidly becoming the de facto file transfer tool on DTNs deployed in the Science DMZ. Vas will provide an overview and brief demonstration of Globus functionality, and will discuss common deployment requirements and best practices.
